Xiaomi continues to upgrade eligible phones to Android 14 with HyperOS as they look to join the Android 15 Developer preview. In the last few hours, a handful of phones have received the much-anticipated upgrade, which is now available for the Xiaomi 11 LE, Xiaomi 12S, and Redmi K50 Pro in China.
As usual, the latest release is exclusive to Mi Pilots members. They will preview the build for two weeks, and if their feedback is positive, the update will start seeding for the public. However, you can download the Recovery ROM and install it manually, but with an authorized Mi Beta account.
The Android 14 HyperOS update rolling out for Xiaomi 11 LE, Xiaomi 12S, and Redmi K50 Pro are seeding with version numbers OS1.0.1.0.UKOCNXM, OS.1.0.3.0.ULTCNXM, and OS1.0.2.0.ULTCNXM, respectively. Arriving with the update are all the expected HyperOS features, while the Android security patch level has been bumped to February 2024 to increase system security and stability. Of course, the devices are now on the latest Android OS and will start testing Android 15 soon.
While waiting for the update, we recommend you lock your bootloader to receive the OTA. Also, check the reported HyperOS bugs before installing the update. And if you have an authorized Mi Beta account, you can download the Recovery ROM using the links below.
