Xiaomi 11T Pro is the latest affordable flagship from the Chinese smartphone maker. It’s the direct successor of the Mi 10T Pro, although the Mi branding isn’t there again. Xiaomi has stopped using that on its smartphone, and that’s how it should be moving forward. The Xiaomi 11T Pro specs show a tad improvement from the previous generation, but it did bring some compelling features. Interestingly, the 11T Pro price starts at €670, and it will go on sale starting from September 24.

Xiaomi has employed high-quality craftsmanship, glass, and aluminum for the 11T Pro. It uses Gorilla Glass Victus for the front panel while aluminum comes on the frame. The back is also made of glass, which at the top left s the rectangular camera island. It houses the triple camera sensor arranged vertically and LED Flash just by the side. At the frame is the power button. It doubles as a fingerprint scanner, while the volume rocker sits on top. There’s no headphone jack, but you get dual stereo speakers. Xiaomi is offering the 11T Pro in colors of Meteorite Gray, Moonlight White, Celestial Blue.

The flat 6.67-inch AMOLED display supports a 120Hz refresh rate. That’s down from 144Hz on the predecessor, but with the AMOLED panel, you’d get more fluidity. The display supports HDR10+ and over 1billion shades of color. It can reach a peak brightness of 1000 nits and will retain all details. For protection, Xiaomi uses Gorilla Glass Victus to complement the sturdy design.

Under the hood is the Snapdragon 888 Octa-Core processor with up to 8GB of RAM. It has a single prime core clocked at 2.84GHz, 3 Kryo 680 cores at 2.42GHz, and 4 Kryo 680 cores at 1.80GHz. Adreno 660 GPU takes care of graphics rendering, while outside of the box, the device runs Android 11 on top of MIUI 12.5. Xiaomi has promised three Android OS upgrades and four years of security support. It means the device will get Android 12, 13, and 14.

Behind the camera, performance is three sensors. The primary 108MP shooter is capable of 8k video shooting but lacks OIS, sadly. It’s accompanied by an 8MP Ultra-wide angle and a 5MP telephoto lens. All the sensors have Autofocus, except for the Ultra-wide lens. At the front panel is a single 16MP shooter with a video recording capped at 1080p@30fps.

Xiaomi 11T Pro battery and security

There’s a beefy 5000mAh battery on the Xiaomi 11T Pro. Interestingly, it charges at 120W, meaning you get to refill the battery from 0 to 100% in 17 minutes. Even with the rapid charging, Xiaomi promised 80% battery life after 2 years. As for security, there’s a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. It has been optimized to perform some functions and also unlock your device in a fraction of seconds.

Xiaomi 11T Pro price and availability

Xiaomi 11T Pro price will start at €649.90 for the base variant (8/128GB). The more premium version will set up back €699.0 starting from September 24. Interestingly, the device is shipping with a 120W adapter in the box.
