Xiaomi 11T has been officially unveiled, the direct successor of Mi 10T. Both devices have similar designs, but the company has made some changes to differentiate the two. There are also some upgrades in the specs, but many people would have loved a Snapdragon processor. And yes, Xiaomi 11T features a Mediatek processor, which differentiates it from the Xiaomi 11T Pro. Also, the charging speed is down, but it’s decent and will deliver a full charge in 36 minutes.

Xiaomi 11T specs
The Xiaomi 11T has a similar design to last year’s Mi 10T. Both feature a flat display, while the former has a dished LCD panel for an AMOLED display. It uses a punch-hole camera, while the display is surrounded by thin bezels. The fingerprint scanner sits at the side while the headphone jack is still missing. It’s a dual stereo speaker, each on the top and bottom frame. The device uses a USB-C port and will be available in Meteorite Gray, Moonlight White, and Celestial Blue.
Xiaomi 11T Display
The Xiaomi 11T makes use of an AMOLED display, having ditched IPS LCD on the predecessor. It’s an adaptive sync display that shuffles between 10Hz to 120Hz depending on what is being displayed. The display peak brightness reaches 1000nits, while it supports HDR10+. With the device, you’re sure of HDR playback when streaming videos. The FullHD+ display will deliver exquisite details, and it is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus.
Xiaomi 11T performance
Of course, it’s a 5G device. The Dimensity 1200 Octa-Core processor with a clock speed of 3.0GHz is 5G enabled. It is coupled with up to 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS storage. There’s a Mali-G77 MC9 GPU to handle graphics rendering, and with the AMOLED display, will deliver exquisite images. Outside of the box, the device runs Android 11 on top of MIUI 12.5. That makes it eligible for the Android(s) 12, 13, 14 and MIUI 13 upgrades.
Xiaomi 11T camera
Compared to the predecessor, the camera sensors have seen an improvement. Xiaomi uses Samsung ISOCELL HM2 108MP sensor at the back. With its 1/1.52″ sensor size, f/1.8 aperture, and 0.7µm pixel size, it will deliver detailed shots. Accompanying the sensor is an 8MP Ultra-wide angle lens and 5MP telephoto snapper. At the front panel is a single 16MP shooter with support for Face unlock.
Xiaomi 11T battery and security
Xiaomi has equipped the 11T with a beefy 5000mAh battery. It supports 67W charging and will refill the device in 36 minutes. For security, the device uses a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. It has been optimized to unlock your device in a fraction of a minute.
Xiaomi 11T price and availability
Xiaomi Mi 11T price starts at €499 for the base 8GB + 128GB memory configuration while the premium 8GB + 128GB sets you back $599. Both variants will be available for purchase starting from September 24. It will be available globally and will be sold through official Xiaomi channels.
