The Xiaomi 13 series has been launched in China, with the hope of it launching globally very soon. Of Xiaomi 13 series, let’s take a look at what Xiaomi has integrated into the vanilla Xiaomi 13. Meanwhile, before diving into the main specs of the Xiaomi 13, it is worth noting that this series is one of the smartphones to get the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset – a 4nm impressive chip from Qualcomm.
Features of the Xiaomi 13
First off, the display. The Xiaomi 13’s display measures 6.36 inches diagonally and is equipped with 1080 x 2400 Pixel resolution and of course, a 120Hz refresh rate. These high-end features together with Dolby Vision, HLG support, and HDR10+ are integrated into this smartphone.
Furthermore, on display, the device will be exquisite outdoors as the maximum and peak brightness sits at 1200 and 1900 nits respectively (just like the Pro counterpart). In the camera section, the Chinese tech giant made a few improvements – let’s take a look.
The camera setup is Leica integrated and will be bearing a 50 MP main camera sensor, in addition to this, there’s the telephoto lens(absent on the Xiaomi 12). The 10MP camera alongside the main sensor gets OIS and together with the 12MP ultrawide lens(which is without autofocus), you should be getting the best out of the camera with this smartphone.
Some other features present on the smartphone are a 4500 mAh battery, 67W wired charging, 50W wireless charging, 10W reversed wireless charging, IP68 rating, Dolby Head tracking, IR blaster, and the MIUI 14 (probably).
The Xiaomi 13 is available in Black, Light Green, Light Blue(in leatherback), Gray and White (there are also flashy colours like Red, Yellow, Green and Blue). You can start pre-ordering the smartphone in China from December 14 and the price starts at $575 for the 8/128GB to $720 for the 12/512GB variant.
