It has been over a week since Xiaomi 13 received Android 14 with the stable HyperOS update. The update has also reached the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, leaving the Pro users waiting. As expected, the wait is over as the Xiaomi 13 Pro HyperOS update starts rolling out with Android 14.
Xiaomi has been busy with the HyperOS rollout, with a handful of phones currently running the latest Android OS. However, the Xiaomi 13 Pro HyperOS update is limited to Mi Pilots members for preview, and if successful, the public release will commence in two weeks.
The update is rolling out with a version of OS1.0.1.0.UMBEUXM in Europe, while global users are getting a stable OS1.0.1.0.UMBMIXM. Aside from all the HyperOS features, the update delivers the new Android OS and bumped the Android security patch level to November 2023 to increase system security and stability.
We expect more regions, including those in India, to start getting the update soon. While waiting for the OTA, check if your bootloader is locked as devices with unlocked bootloader will not receive HyperOS. Also, back up your data before installing the update with some system apps yet to adapt to Android 14.
