We’re quite familiar with the Xiaomi 13 series as it was launched in the Chinese market followed by a release to the global market. Well, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will be coming in by May and the global market wouldn’t have to wait longer than usual (like the Xiaomi 13 season).
Everyone was looking forward to the Xiaomi Mi 12 Ultra after the well-received Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra in 2021. Nevertheless, when the 12S Ultra was launched, the firm opted not to distribute the phone globally, ostensibly owing to the chip scarcity that everyone was facing in 2022.
But, the rumored Xiaomi 13 Ultra is expected to hit the worldwide market this year. The leak comes from a reliable source. According to the same rumor, Oppo’s flagship Find X6 Pro would not be available outside of China. The Xiaomi 13 Ultra, as expected, will be a genuine photography powerhouse, and we already have a general sense of how the device will appear.
Known features of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra
Digital chat station has shared the camera details of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra. According to the tipster, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will be taking a four-camera setup at the rear. Among the four camera sensors will be the primary Sony IMX989 from the Xiaomi 12S Ultra – an additional feature will be the gimbal stabilization.
Meanwhile, as regards the other three camera sensors, we’re still in a grey area as to what to expect, however, it seems the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will retain the camera sensors from the Xiaomi 12S Ultra. Meanwhile, all four sensors will be getting PDAF autofocus and direct time of flight. According to sources, the periscope camera of this smartphone will shock everyone as it might be superior to those on the S22 and S23 Ultra.
Superior as in, the image qualities will be top notch and of course the zoom capabilities. There was no other information revealed, however, Digital Chat Station mentioned that the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will be equipped with 16GB of LP-DDR5X RAM and a whopping 1TB of storage (twice that on the Pro variant).
