Here’s the crux of the matter: The Xiaomi 13 Ultra is to debut with an all-new periscope camera lens which (according to sources) will be rivaling that of the Samsung Galaxy S series and might be even better.
Further details on the Xiaomi 13 Ultra
Since hint dropped about the Xiaomi 13 series, we’ve been familiar with what the brand has integrated into the regular Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro with little information on what is on the Xiaomi 13 Ultra – well, a tip has dropped. According to Kartikey Singh, there will be huge changes in the camera section of the Ultra.
First off, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will be taking up the Sony IMX989 sensor present on the Xiaomi 12S Ultra(which makes the 12S Ultra standout) which makes it more feasible for Xiaomi to have a feature up its sleeve. According to sources, the periscope camera of this smartphone will shock everyone as it might be superior to those on the S22 and S23 Ultra.
Superior as in, the image qualities will be top notch and of course the zoom capabilities. There was no other information revealed by Kartikey Singh, however, Digital Chat Station mentioned that the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will be equipped with 16GB of LP-DDR5X RAM and a whopping 1TB of storage (twice that on the Pro variant). Meanwhile, the vanilla and Pro variant of this smartphone launched in China, however, we might get to see the global versions alongside the Ultra early next year.
