Xiaomi 13T and Xiaomi 13T Pro arrives on the global market

Xiaomi has officially presented the successors of Xiaomi 12T and Xiaomi 12T Pro. The duo features some improvements over the predecessors, while also certifying IP68 rating. However, these improvements have seen the price slightly increased, but it seems the specs are worth it. Below are the specs of Xiaomi 13T and Xiaomi 13T Pro.

Xiaomi 13T Pro

The Xiaomi 13T Pro has a 6.67-inch OLED display that refreshes at 144Hz. It’s a Full HD+ resolution screen and can reach a peak brightness of 2,600 nits. The panel is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass, the same as the back, while aluminum is used on the frame.

Under the hood, Xiaomi prefers the Dimensity 9200+ Octa-core processor. It comes with up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. Outside-of-the box, it runs Android 13 on top of MIUI 14 and will soon receive the stable MIUI 15 and Android 14 updates.

For optics, Xiaomi has gone for a triple camera set-up. There’s a primary 50MP sensor of 1/1.28″ type size with 1.2μm individual pixels and F/1.9 aperture. And yes, there’s OIS. It’s paired with a 50MP portrait telephoto sensor, while the Ultrawide shooter has a 12MP lens.

Xiaomi has designed the Xiaomi 13T Pro camera in partnership with Leica, meaning you get extra customization. You can choose between the Leica Authentic Look and Leica Vibrant look, with the former reproducing realistic color while the latter adds extra pop. Also, you get the Custom photographic styles on the Xiaomi 13 Ultra. Meanwhile, the front-facing camera is a 20MP shooter. It’s mounted on a punch hole and sits at the center without autofocus.

Power is drawn from a beefy 5000mAh battery. It supports 120W fast charging, and according to Xiaomi, takes 19 minutes to fully charge the Xiaomi 13T Pro. Interestingly, the device will get four generations of Android OS and five years of security patch updates.

Xiaomi 13T

The Xiaomi 13T features the same 6.67-inch OLED display. It’s a 1.5K panel with up to 144Hz refresh rate while keeping the 2,600nits peak brightness.

The camera set-up is the same with the primary 50MP + 50MP telephoto and 12MP Ultra wide sensors. It gets all the Leica customization but can only support video recording at 4k@30FPs, while you must switch to FHD resolution to shoot at 4k@60FPs.
