Xiaomi has released the HyperOS 2.2 update for select 13T users. The rollout is available globally, with expansion to other regions in the coming days. As expected, the update brings new features, including a new Status Bar.

Xiaomi 13T has always been eligible for the HyperOS 2.2 update, and it is now rolling out for select users. The company has limited the rollout to Global ROM users, but we expect more regions to get the upgrade in the coming days. Unfortunately, the update is limited to Mi Pilot members to preview the build before a public release.
Details of Xiaomi 13T HyperOS 2.2 update
Xiaomi is rolling out a stable HyperOS 2.0.203.0.VMFMIXM. The update size is 846 MB and comes with loads of new features. These include the New Status Bar with the blue effect. A new lock screen template, including the depth effect on the extended Clock. You can check the complete features here.
Aside from introducing new features, the Xiaomi 13T HyperOS 2.2 update brings the June 2025 security patch to enhance security. Additionally, there have been optimization and bug fixes, and we recommend installing the update.
If you are curious, the update does not come with a new Android OS. Of course, the Xiaomi 13T is eligible for Android 16, but that will arrive at the tail of the year. While we wait for the update, we recommend installing the latest build for a seamless transition to a new OS.
How to download the Xiaomi 13T HyperOS 2.2 update
Xiaomi is rolling out the update in batches, meaning only a few people are getting the upgrade. It will take a few days to become available in more regions, but you can manually check for the update via the Updater app. Don’t be disappointed if you cannot see the update. You can check back after a few days.
