Qualcomm has announced the Snapdragon 8 Elite that will power most flagship phones in 2025. As usual, Xiaomi’s upcoming flagship phones will be the first to run the SoC. These phones will debut the stable Hyper 2.0-based on Android 15.
The Xiaomi 15 series will debut tomorrow, running Qualcomm’s latest flagship SoC. Senior VP Adam Zeng (Zeng Xuezhong) announced this during the SoC’s unveiling. We expect two premium phones – Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro, while the Xiaomi 15 Ultra is coming next year.
Of course, these phones will run stable Android 15 outside the box. Interestingly, they will debut the much-anticipated Hyper 2.0, which promises new features. Perhaps the biggest change will be the revamping of the control center. We expect to see the redesign of some system icons and widgets.
The Xiaomi Hyper 2.0 is still in the beta phase but we expect the stable version to start rolling out after the unveiling. We understand Xiaomi will announce the latest iteration of Hyper on October 29. Hopefully, we will get a list of phones to get the update and all the features it will introduce to older models.
