While Google had supposedly delayed the August 2022 security patch for Pixel phones, Xiaomi has started rolling out the latest patch to eligible devices. The Chinese company is pushing the update to Xiaomi Mi 10i, but exclusive to select users in India.
Xiaomi has released the August 2022 security patch, ahead of Google once again. The company, for the past couple of months, has seeded the latest patch before Google but are still way behind Samsung. Of course, it’s a step in the right direction as they have been off the pace for years.
Meanwhile, the August 2022 security patch arriving for the Mi 10i, has a version number MIUI 13.0.6.0 SJSINXM. It is exclusive to the Indian variants, but we expect a wider rollout in the coming days. You should check the updater app for the new update or use the link below to download it.
