This selfie-centric smartphone, Xiami Civi 2, has its two cameras buried into a pill-shaped cutout resembling that of the Dynamic Island on the Apple iPhone 14 Pro models. Still, on the selfie camera, the Xiaomi Civi 2 has two camera flashlights to help enhance selfie photography with ease, in circumstances of low light.
Powered by the impressive Snapdragon 7 Gen 1, the Xiaomi Civil 2 gets three memory options – 8/128GB, 8/256GB, 12/256GB – to support the chipset performance. The display is a 6.55-inch Full HD+ resolution with a 120Hz screen refresh rate and double the frequency for the touch sampling rate. Also, we get full DCI-P3 colour gaming coverage, Dolby vision support and HDR10+.
Back to the selfie camera – which is the uniqueness of this device – the Xiaomi Civi 2 selfie cameras are both 32MP camera sensors with AF and f/2.0 aperture in the main while the other is particularly for group shots housing a 100-degree Fov. The two flashlights have four LEDs in each and are placed within the ever-tiny bezel at the top screen. Furthermore, the brand mentions that Xiaomi Civi 2 is designed to give realistic colours in photography, thanks to its AI enhancements, 3D tracking beauty mode, video background blur and fact video editing too.
What about the rear cameras? We get a 50MP main camera sensor with f/1.8 aperture, 20MP ultrawide sensor and 2MP lens for macro shots. Other features include the NFC, Bluetooth 5.2, 5G connectivity, WiFi 6, and the 3.5mm audio jack. The Xiaomi Civi 2 houses a 4500 mAh battery and can be charged by the 67W adapter.
Lastly for the pricing, the smartphone goes for CNY2,399 in China and will be available in Pink, White, Black and Blue colours.
