Xiaomi HyperOS 2 made its official debut in China last month. The upgrade is already rolling out for eligible phones in that region, while the global users had to wait until recently. We now know when Xiaomi HyperOS 2 will arrive for Global units, and interestingly, the first wave of the rollout will begin this month.
Xiaomi HyperOS 2 Global release plan
You would expect the HyperOS 2 to arrive for the Xiaomi 14 series first, but Xiaomi is prioritizing their latest flagship phones – Xiaomi 14T and Xiaomi 14T Pro. Both phones will get the upgrade in the coming days, and we expect the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Ultra to join after that. Also, the Redmi 13 series will get upgraded this month alongside the POCO X6, POCO X6 Pro, POCO F6 Pro, and M6 Pro. Remember that Xiaomi launched the Mix Flip phone recently, it will get an update soon, and Xiaomi 13T Pro.
As typical of Xiaomi, more devices will probably get the update this month, but the company has scheduled them for December release. These phones include the Xiaomi 13T, POCO F6, and POCO M6. We expect older flagship phones like the Xiaomi 13, Xiaomi 12, and Xiaomi 11 series phones to get the update next month. If you are an owner of the Redmi 13, Redmi 12, and Redmi Note 12 series, you might get the HyperOS 2 update this month.
More POCO phones will get the HyperOS 2 update in December. We expect the POCO X5 Pro, POCO F5, POCO F5 Pro, POCO X4 GT, POCO C65, POCO C75, and others to receive the update in the coming weeks.
Aside from mobile phones, Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro 12.4 will be updated this month alongside the Smart Band 9 Pro. In December, Xiaomi Pad 6, POCO Pad and POCO Pad Pro 5G, Redmi Pad SE series, and others will get the upgrade.
Meanwhile, while these phones and Tablets will get the HyperOS 2, it’s uncertain if they are all getting a new Android OS upgrade with the update. We understand that some of the devices on this list will not be upgraded to Android 15 when they install the HyperOS 2.0 update.
