Last week, Xiaomi confirmed the release of its upcoming flagship phones this month, which will run the new HyperOS outside-of the box. The company has given us a date, and we don’t have to wait too long, as the event is in three days.
Xiaomi is taking a different route this year by launching its latest flagship device in October. The company has released a new device, with the latest iteration of MIUI, in December for a couple of years now. Perhaps, it’s targeting the 11:11 sales day in China, given that the Xiaomi 13 series phones are out of stock. That seems like it with the October 26 launch date for the Xiaomi 14 series phones, which will run the Xiaomi HyperOS.
The event scheduled in China on October 26, 2023, will see the release of two phones – Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro, at least. Both phones will use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC with up to 16GB and 1TB of storage. Charging will be limited to 90w on the vanilla version, while the Pro will support 120W charging. The device will be available in Black, Green, White, and Pink hue for the vanilla model.
We hope to learn about the availability of the Xiaomi 14 series and when HyperOS will start rolling out. We expect Chinese users to start getting the update on October 26, 2023, while Global users will likely get it in November 2023.
