Xiaomi has been preparing to launch a new Redmi Note series device for some time now. At first, it was said to be the successor of the popular Redmi Note 9 series, but going by the latest reports, the upcoming phone, will be introduced as a premium version of the Redmi Note 9.
According to Digital Chat Station, the supposed premium version of the Redmi Note 9 will borrow some features of the Mi 10T Pro and POCO X3 NFC, which is an adaptive refresh rate display. The panel reportedly measures 6.67-inch. It’s an LCD panel with 1080 x 2400 FHD+ resolution and a dot hole for the selfie camera, while the flexible refresh rate can go from 30Hz to 120Hz, depending on the screen content.
Other features of this upcoming Redmi Note 9 phone include 400nits of brightness, a third-gen Sunlight, and Reading modes. It has TÜV Rheinland Low Light certification and is expected to feature Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
There’s no doubt that these features will be power-demanding, especially the display, which is probably the reason Xiaomi will equip the device with a rumored 4,800mAh battery. It will probably support a fast charging solution, at least 33W.

Unfortunately, this report focuses more on the display. It didn’t provide much information regarding other aspects of the phone, but going by the previous reports, it could be the 108MP Redmi phone the company has been preparing to launch for a while now.
We would not be surprised if the company decided to introduce a reworked Mi 10T Pro since it only introduced the Mi 10T in China, which debuted as Redmi K30s. Nevertheless, if the rumors are true, we expect to learn more about the premium version of the Redmi Note 9 in the coming days.
