Over one month after the Xiaomi Mi 10 stable MIUI 13 update brought Android 12 in China, Xiaomi has started pushing the much-anticipated upgrade to the devices in Europe. The 2020 flagship device debuted with Android 10, and it is currently running Android 11 on top of MIUI 12.5 Enhanced, which now changes for the models in Europe. However, the rollout is limited to Mi Pilots, meaning only a handful of users will receive the update for preview.
The Xiaomi Mi 10 stable MIUI 13 update is seeding with a version number MIUI 13.0.1.0 SJBEUXM and weighs in at 3.1GB. Given the build number, the update has pushed the Android version to Android 12, while the security patch level is in February 2022. Supposedly, the update has improved the stability of the system, and according to feedback, the current iteration of MIUI has improved system stability while minimum bugs have been reported.
Also, the update has introduced some new additions – sidebar, new widgets, new Crystallization super wallpapers, and revamped control center to integrate Mi Smart Hub. Unfortunately, the improved security features, Mi Sans Font, and other features that are exclusive to the Chinese models didn’t make it to this build. Hopefully, Xiaomi will bring some of them to international models with subsequent MIUI 13 updates.
And with the latest update, Apps can be opened as floating windows from the sidebar while there has been an optimization to Enhance accessibility support for Phone, Clock, and Weather.
