Xiaomi developers are now back to work after the Chinese holiday. They returned to work with a stable update release for the POCO M3 and are now pushing Android 11 builds to multiple eligible phones. The Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite is among the Xiaomi phones receiving the update. It’s arriving for the global users for now, but we expect it to extend to other regions in the coming days. And for the global users, the Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite Android 11 update is on a limited rollout, and as such, will arrive for selected users.
Meanwhile, the update is hitting eligible units with a version number – MIUI 12.0.2.0 RJSMIXM – and weighs in at 2.5GB. It brings alongside a new Android 11, the January 2021 security patch to improve system security and stability. You’ll also notice other changes and improvements, but you might need to perform a factory reset. It’s because the Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite Android 11 update is a cross-section Android upgrade and might cause lag and glitches. It’s advised that you backup your data before installing the update incase you need to perform a factory reset after the upgrade.
Meanwhile, you should only perform a factory reset if you experience lags, and other than that, you should keep using your device. And if you’re waiting for the update, you should scan for it by heading over to Settings>>About Phone >>MIUI 12. Also, we have added a link below this post and you can access the full Recovery ROM. And hopefully, now that the Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite Android 11 update has been released, we expect to see Mi 10i and Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G receive that update.
