While some devices are getting the stable MIUI 14 with a new Android OS upgrade, the Xiaomi Mi 10T / Pro MIUI 14 update fails to bring the Android 13 upgrade. The device elapsed its OS upgrade support with Android 12, which is now confirmed with the latest rollout.
Xiaomi announced the Mi 10T / Pro in 2020, running Android 10 based on MIUI 12.5. The device currently runs Android 12, which means it has received two Android OS upgrades, which is the maximum for most Xiaomi phones. Hence, why Xiaomi is rolling out the stable MIUI 14 without a new OS.
Meanwhile, the Xiaomi Mi 10T / Pro MIUI 14 update brings new features and optimizations. With the introduction of the Photon Engine, Xiaomi has improved the performance of its phone, including the Mi 10T series. You’d notice substantial improvements in speed and battery life. The update also bumps the Android security patch level to March 2023 to increase system security. It advanced search in settings, among other improvements and bug fixes.
