Xiaomi is gearing up to announce its next flagship device, which has already been confirmed by the company’s president to debut with Snapdragon 888 Octa-Core SoC. According to rumors, we might see the Xiaomi Mi 11 series phones debut before the end of this year. Although the company is yet to make any official announcement concerning the launch date, the latest report might be another way of saying the launch is imminent.
The Xiaomi Mi 11 series battery capacity has been revealed. It has been spotted on the 3C certification database, which means that the batteries have been certified. There, the rated value of the batteries is listed as 2,845mAh and 2,390mAh. Meanwhile, the total rated battery capacity of the duo according to Digital Chat Station is 4780mAh and 4970mAh. It means that the typical value could reach 5000mAh.
The Chinese Tipster also alleged a 55W rapid charging for the Mi 11 series phones, and if that’s true will take approximately 35 minutes for a full charge. That’s not bad, especially when the 120W fast charging on the Mi 10 Ultra takes about 23 minutes to charge a 500mAh less battery. However, we hope to find out more about the Mi 11 series battery capacity and the charging speed when Xiaomi announces the duo.
Of course, the devices will run the most sophisticated Qualcomm SoC to date – Snapdragon 888. It’s going to feature, for the first time, a Quad HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The fingerprint scanner is going to sit underneath the display, and we expect a Quad-camera arrangement, which has been rumored to align horizontally.
Meanwhile, since Xiaomi is expected to announce the Mi 11 series phones very soon, it won’t be much longer before the company starts teasing the devices. We hope to see official posters and banners in the coming days, which will also reveal some of the specs.
