It has been one month since the official presentation of MIUI 13 in India, but Xiaomi has just started the deployment with the Mi 11X Pro, the first device to get the update in that region. The update is available for select users pending the outcome of the preview phase, which is expected to last for a couple of days. However, there is a way to side-load the ROM without waiting for the public rollout.
Xiaomi presented MIUI 13 in India during the unveiling of the Redmi Note 11 series phones in that region. The devices debuted running stable MIUI 13 but based on Android 11, and hopefully, they’ll get an upgrade to Android 12 in the coming days. While we are still waiting for the planned upgrade, the company has started pushing the Xiaomi Mi 11X Pro MIUI 13 stable update in India.
The update is coming with a version number – MIUI 13.0.1.0 SKKINXM – and weighs 3.1GB. As expected, the update brings a new Android OS (Android 12) and a new security patch level ( February 2022). That has supposedly improved system security, while the stable MIUI 13 has improved the system stability. Aside from the improvements, they’re a few additions – Widgets, Wallpapers, Sidebar, and a new control center.
Aside from the aforementioned features, you can now open apps as floating windows from the sidebar while there has been enhanced accessibility support for Phone, Clock, and Weather. Also, the Mind map node is more convenient and intuitive. Unfortunately, it would take time before everyone gets the Xiaomi Mi 11X Pro MIUI 13 stable update. Nevertheless, you can use the link below this post to download the ROM, but we recommend backing up your files before proceeding.
