Launched in November 2019, the Xiaomi Note 10 / Pro debuted with Android Pie on top of MIUI 11, and with the device currently running Android 11, there was no way it would receive Android 12 officially. Xiaomi is now sending a new update to the device, which brings stable MIUI 13. The update could only bump the device’s Android security patch level to improve security and stability.
The Xiaomi Note 10 / Pro stable MIUI 13 update is seeding for the global models. It is seeding with a version number MIUI 13.0.1.0 RFDMIXM and weighs 545MB. According to the changelog, the build has bumped the Android security level to April 2022. That has supposedly improved system security and stability while addressing the privacy and security vulnerabilities fixed by the current patch.
While the Mi Note 10 / Pro stable MIUI 13 update is missing those Android 12 features, it has introduced a new widget, sidebar, while the new control center is exclusive to select Chinese phones. Although there’s a way to enable it manually, it wouldn’t work on Android 11 devices. Hopefully, Xiaomi will enable it with future updates.
Meanwhile, the update is limited to Mi Pilots, with public deployment expected in the coming days. You can bypass the wait if you can do the extra work with manual installation. Below is a link to download the ROM.
