It’s been a long time since we started waiting for the Xiaomi MIUI 13 update, and it looks like the unveiling isn’t far behind. There have been teasers and rumors about the next iteration of MIUI, some from the company’s executives. The latest report about that build is that the Internal beta testing has started for premium Xiaomi phones. And it looks like the Xiaomi MIUI 13 update will arrive with stable Android 12 for all eligible phones.
Samsung, Oppo, and others customize their Android skin based on the latest Android OS at the time of release. Unlike Xiaomi, MIUI and Android OS are not linked together, but it seems that’s about to change. The company has been swiftly rolling out Android 12 beta to closed beta groups, and it looks like the stable version will arrive with MIUI 13.
Going by a recent report, about seven phones are currently testing MIUI 13 based Android 12 build. We believe these builds will soon get to beta testers, perhaps after the official unveiling.
