Xiaomi has been working on the next iteration of MIUI for months, and it’s time for the official MIUI 13 release. The upcoming Android skin has been on the news lately, and we have seen some of the features it will bring. Of course, it’s going to improve performance and make a few virtual changes. And while we are still waiting for the official MIUI 13 release date, the company might have shed some light on that.
The only news about the MIUI 13 launch date is the rumored December 16. That 12 days shy from last year’s event. However, it’s all rumor until confirmed, but with the recent development, the company might be working on that date. Perhaps, the release might not be on the said date, but we are optimistic that MIUI 13 release will happen this month.
Going by the latest Xiaomi MIUI development version release note, closed beta builds will be suspended from December 13. According to Xiaomi, “Due to the adjustment of the software system architecture, the MIUI development version will be suspended for some time starting from 12.13, always believe that beautiful things are about to happen.”
And yes, it’s the MIUI 13 release being talked about, and we expect the official unveiling this month. Meanwhile, it seems the December 16 launch date isn’t correct, given that the Development version will only be suspended on 13 December – 3 days from the rumored launch date. That said, we expect the launch towards month-end, but we will be keeping a close look. Hopefully, the company will make an official announcement regarding the date in the coming days.
