With Google a couple of weeks from releasing the stable Android 14 update, Xiaomi is working to be among the OEMs to deliver the new OS to their eligible phones after that official release. The company is currently seeding a new Android 14 beta build based on MIUI as it continues to test performance.
Google recently released the Android 14 beta 5 build. It’s the last scheduled update in the Android 14 beta program, meaning the stable release isn’t far away. To be among the first OEMs to release the new OS to their eligible phones, Xiaomi has released a new Android 14 beta.
The latest release is based on Android 14 beta 3, meaning the company has moved to resting app performance. With Android 14 beta 3, Google reached platform stability, meaning there haven’t been any changes since then. Hence, if you want to experience what Android 14 will look like when it arrives on the stable channel, you should install the new build.
The new Android 14 beta update for Xiaomi phones is limited to Xiaomi 13, Xiaomi 13 Pro, and Xiaomi 12T globally. The Chinese variants are also receiving the new update, but the Xiaomi Pad 6 instead of the Xiaomi 12T, which isn’t available in China.
It’s unclear when the stable Android 14 update will arrive on Xiaomi phones. We expect to have an idea after Google releases the stable build in the coming weeks. Meanwhile, you can use the links below to download the latest update, and don’t forget to back up your data before installing.
