Xiaomi has started rolling out the latest security patch update. The Chinese company is seeding the October 2023 patch update to resolve security vulnerabilities and increase system stability.
Xiaomi phones are now among the first to receive the latest security patch update. Each month, the company releases a new update to its eligible phones, fixing bugs and improving performance. As expected, they’ve started releasing the October 2023 security patch update.
The latest update patches security vulnerabilities ranging from high to critical. It resolved 26 issues in the patch dated 203-10-01, 26 on the 2023-10-05 patch, and one bug on 2023-10-06. We recommend installing the update once available for your device to address these issues that were resolved so your Android phone can keep running smoothly.
Currently, only the Redmi Note 11S 4G/POCO M4 Pro 4G has received the update. It’s available globally with a version number MIUI 14.0.5.0 TKEMIXM and weighs about 210MB. We expect a wider release in the coming days, and hopefully, more Xiaomi phone users will start getting the October 2023 security patch update.

The Redmi 10C is now receiving a new update with October 2023 security patch. It’s available for global users with a version number MIUI 14.0.4.0 TGEMIXM. Those in Indonesia are getting a stable MIUI 14.0.2.0 TGEIDXM while those in Turkey are receiving a MIUI 14.0.2.0 TGETRXM. As usual, the update optimizes performance and resolve bugs.
