Xiaomi has also released the August 2023 security patch update to European users. The Chinese company recently rolled out the much-anticipated update to Indian users, which supposedly includes a fix for HD playback issues on Netflix.
We are in the last days of August, but Xiaomi is committed to delivering the latest patch to eligible devices before the month ends. The company is now rolling out the August 2023 security patch to Xiaomi Pad 6 users in Europe. It’s a stable beta build, meaning only select users will receive the update for preview.
The update is seeding with a version number MIUI 14.0.4.0 TMZEUXM and weighs 342 MB. According to the changelog, the update has updated the security patch level to August 2023 and increased system security. Of course, the build includes bug fixes and system improvements.
While only Mi Pilot members are getting the update via OTA, you can download the Recovery ROM using the link below. If you encounter an error message installing the build, we recommend trying after some days.
