Is my Xiaomi phone going to receive Android 15?

Google recently reached Android 15 platform stability with the release of the latest beta update. Developers are now testing their apps for compatibility with Android 15, while OEMs are doing the same with their Android skin. A few Xiaomi phones are testing the build currently, but there will be more Xiaomi phones to receive Android 15.

Xiaomi phones going to receive Android 15

From what we have seen thus far, Android 15 will not make UI changes. Google will focus on improving already existing features and introducing new ones. We expect Xiaomi phones to receive the upgrade with HyperOS 2.0, but unfortunately, not every Xiaomi phone is going to receive Android 15.

Xiaomi has a rather complicated update policy. While Samsung offers seven years of Android updates to its flagship phones, premium Xiaomi phones sometimes get four or three, depending on their region. It makes it difficult to say if a Xiaomi phone will receive a new Android OS upgrade.

Nevertheless, if your device runs Android 14 outside of the box, you will get Android 15. Those using flagship Xiaomi phones and received one OS upgrade will get Android 15. Below, you can check the list of Xiaomi phones to receive Android 15.

Unfortunately, some phones on this list might get only HyperOS 2.0 without Android 15. We have witnessed that before, especially for global units, but we hope Xiaomi keeps its promise of four years of Android OS updates for their flagship phones.

And while we do not know the features to expect from HyperOS 2.0, the same cannot be said about Android 15. Given the series of beta updates already released by Google, we know what the tech company will introduce with the upcoming OS update. You can check the features of Android 15 here
