Circle to Search is the latest search technique by Google, though it debuted with the Galaxy S24 series earlier this year. It has since arrived for Pixel phones, while more Samsung phones now support it. We understand Google plans to expand the feature to other Android phones to reach 200m devices before 2025. As expected, Xiaomi phones are among those that will get the Circle to Search.
It’s impressive how you can search for anything without leaving the current screen. You can search for anything, irrespective of where you are on your device, and Google will pull up results for you. It is a good addition to Xiaomi phones, and we expect a wider availability after it debuts with the upcoming Xiaomi 14T series.
Xiaomi has scheduled a launch event for the unveiling of the Xiaomi 14T and 14T Pro next week. One of the software features of the devices is Circle to Search. They will be the first Xiaomi phones to support it, but we expect other phones to get it as well.
According to Xiaomitime, over 38 Xiaomi phones will get Circle to Search in the coming weeks. Google plans to reach more phones with the feature this year. How Circle to Search will work on your Xiaomi phone
Usually, it is enabled by default once support arrives for your device after an OTA update. To search for anything on your screen, hold the home button until Google pops up on the screen, and then circle anything you want to search; it can be an image or text. Results will appear below your screen, then you can pull it for more search options.
