Xiaomi keeps on unveiling a lot of devices and will surely take up a little more than what they took from the market share last year. We’ve got the flagships Xiaomi 13, and the Redmi K60 series among some other wearables and this time, it’s the budget Xiaomi Redmi 12C. But the budget doesn’t mean Xiaomi isn’t integrating incredible features in the Xiaomi Redmi 12C, let’s see what we’ve got.
Features of the Xiaomi Redmi 12C
First off, the phone is powered by the Mediatek Helio G85 which is quite impressive for a smartphone of this price. You can still carry out your daily multitasking and even go on some gaming periods with this smartphone (just on lower game settings). On to the display, it’s a 6.71 inch 1650×720 Pixel resolution screen and should be equipped with a 90Hz screen refresh rate at least.
The 8.77mm thick Xiaomi Redmi 12C is taking up a dual camera, one of which is a 50MP main camera sensor. The centre camera punch hole at the front should be housing a 5MP selfie camera (well, you shouldn’t hope to get the best of the camera with this budget smartphone but it’s still a good deal for that price). In addition to the camera hardware, the brand makes sure to brag about the 50 million Pixel ultra-clear camera which (hopefully) will be a good upgrade to the Xiaomi 12C.
The smartphone has 4G support and will be getting the MIUI 13 on the software front with the hope of getting more OS upgrades in the future. You can enjoy all the hardware and software features on a 5000 mAh battery and there are quite a few storage variants to choose from. There’s the 4/64GB, 4/128GB, and 6/128GB, with a starting price of $100.
