Xiaomi, on September 30, will announce the Mi 10T series. The event will see the unveiling of the Mi 10T Lite, which will start at under €300, according to official Xiaomi. Meanwhile, there have been rumors the said phone will debut in China as Redmi Note 10 5G, and according to the latest reports, that seems likely now.
According to a tipster, Yadav, the Redmi Note 10 5G will use the newly unveiled Snapdragon 750G. The SoC is what is expected to feature in the Mi 10T Lite, and going by the leaks, will debut in China under the Redmi Note 10 moniker. The device might arrive in India as well, either as Redmi Note 10 or Note 10 Pro.
The Redmi Note 10 5G, supposedly, the Mi 10T lite has also bagged the TÜV Rheinland certification. The listing reveals the battery capacity of the device as 4,820mAh (5000mAh), which is on par with the battery of a mysterious Xiaomi phone listed on the Indian BIS certification website. That could mean an imminent launch, and we expect to learn more after the September 30TH event for the Mi 10T series.
Nevertheless, if the Redmi Note 10 5G is truly a rebranded Mi 10T Lite, there’s going to be a hike in price, compared to the predecessor – Redmi Note 9 series. But unless there’s going to be a more affordable version of the device, which looks more likely.
However, Xiaomi is said to launch the device next month, which isn’t far from now. We expect to learn more about the device in the coming days. It is important to note that there hasn’t been any official information about the Note 10 5G. For now, it’s all rumors, and we advise you to treat it as one. Once we get official confirmation from Xiaomi, we’ll update this space accordingly.
