We have another smartphone from the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 series. It’s the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G and it’s taking up interesting features as well. Let’s take a look.
Features of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G
The new Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G launched in Indonesia, with a Snapdragon 732G CPU, a 108MP primary camera, and a camera island similar to the Redmi Note 11 series. The Qualcomm chipset is over three years old and only supports LTE speeds, but it is still rather competent, with two large CPU cores operating at 2.3 GHz. It previously appeared in the Redmi Note 10 Pro in March 2021.
The 5,000 mAh battery with 67W is another characteristic that has been included in the Redmi Note range for three generations. The same is true for the 120Hz screen, which has a single punch hole in the middle and is most likely a 6.67″ AMOLED display. Additional features include 4K video recording, dual speakers, a 3.5mm audio connection, and Dolby Vision Atmos compatibility.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G will be available in Indonesia in May. We’ll keep an eye out to see if this identical smartphone becomes available in other markets or areas. It is worth noting that the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G has little to no similarity with the other Pro versions in the lineup.
For reference, the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ with its 200MP camera will be available for €500 for a model with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. This model has a 120W charger and a large 5,000mAh battery. The Discovery version, which features a quicker 210W charger (but a smaller 4,300mAh battery), will not be joining it.
The Redmi Note 12 Pro is 20% less expensive at €400, but it only has 6GB of Memory and 128GB of storage. In addition, compared to the Plus model, this one sports a 50MP primary camera (with a little smaller sensor but still OIS) and a 5,000mAh battery that charges at 67W. What difference does it make? The time to completion ranges from 19 to 46 minutes.
