Xiaomi has intensified the Android 16 beta testing. While new devices are yet to join the public beta preview, a new build has been released, indicating that the stable Android 16 update will begin rolling out soon.

With Google set to release Android 16 next month, other smartphone companies are working to start rolling out the upgrade after the official release. Xiaomi has been testing the build, and with the new beta release, the company is now set to release the stable build.
Details of the Xiaomi stable Android 16 release
A new Android 16-based HyperOS build has been spotted on Xiaomi servers. It is for the latest flagship phones, meaning a stable release might soon be on the way. The Chinese company has been previewing the next Android OS for months now. We won’t be surprised if the stable rollout commences for the Chinese users in the coming weeks.
The stable beta OS2.0.300.1 WOCCNXM, which is for the Chinese units, is available for the European and Global variants. So far, only the vanilla version is getting the new release, but we expect an expansion to other variants in the coming days.
While Xiaomi seems to be testing the latest build with a new variant of HyperOS 2, HyperOS OS2.3, we expect the final release to be based on HyperOS 3. There is no news about the latter, but we expect to hear more in the coming weeks.
Those participating in the beta release should check for a new update. We understand that Xiaomi is rolling out the build to eligible users. Unfortunately, there are no new changes, but we expect improved performance, bug fixes, and optimizations.
