Together with the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro announcements at MWC 2023, the Xiaomi has also presented some of its latest accessories in new countries. The Xiaomi Watch S1 Pro is a fashionable timepiece with tactile controls through its rotating crown, while the Buds 4 Pro is a stylish and tiny pair of earbuds with superb sound and robust active noise cancellation capabilities.
Features of the Xiaomi Watch S1 Pro and Buds 4 Pro
The Xiaomi Watch S1 Pro has the appearance of a conventional timepiece and is available in two colors: silver or black. The silver model will have a leather strap, while the black model will have a rubber strap. Both variants will have a stainless steel shell encasing a 1.47-inch AMOLED display. The display’s finest feature is that it will be covered by a sapphire crystal element, making it more resistant to scratches and scrapes.
When it comes to internal sensors, the watch has a plethora, with the ability to detect heart rate, location, body temperature, and more. In terms of battery life, the 500mAh battery should last up to 14 days and can be charged wirelessly. The watch’s proprietary operating system, MIUI Watch OS, allows it to go for long periods without charging.
For the most part, it’s pretty standard fare when it comes to smartwatches, but what could set it apart is its price, which was not mentioned in the press material. The Xiaomi Bud 4 Pro is available in two vibrant colors: Star Gold and Space Black, with a glossy polished finish on the casing and earphones. The compatibility with Sony’s LDAC technology, which provides greater depth and clarity when listening to music, is perhaps the highlight of these wireless earbuds.
You’ll also receive active noise cancellation up to 48dB, which will let you isolate yourself from your surroundings when necessary. The company is also integrating a feature dubbed Dimensional audio, which will provide customers with a unique and immersive way to listen to audio.
The battery life is outstanding, with up to nine hours of use on a single charge and an additional 38 hours from the charging case. As previously said, Xiaomi has not provided prices for these devices, nor has it specified when or how they will be available. As that information becomes available, we’ll be sure to update this article.
