After raising its subscription packages, YouTube Music starts rolling an interesting update. The latest addition is Live Lyrics, which is available on Android and iOS.
Google has been working on the Live Lyrics support on Android and iOS for months and has started rolling it out. The latest addition sees the lyrics tab revamped with bigger text and better spacing. Now, when you tap on the lyrics tab, you will see the current line highlighted in white with a faint gray background.
It scrolls down automatically as the music plays, hence, there would be no need for you to do it again. The page refreshes and moves when the song you are playing jumps to the next line.
According to reports, the Live Lyrics support on Android and iOS is rolling out widely. On the former, you should get the feature running v16.15 and v16.6 on the latter. Also, it seems all songs on YouTube Music now support the new feature. However, you’d get the static version for songs yet to support Live Lyrics on the app.
