The Asus Zenfone 10 has been officially launched, and one of its standout features is the impressive chipset, offering significant improvements over its predecessor, the Asus Zenfone 9. Let’s delve into the details.
Features of the ASUS Zenfone 10
The Zenfone 10 is powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 CPU, supporting up to 16GB of RAM. This results in a 15% increase in processing speed, 20% faster gaming performance, and 15% greater efficiency, which contributes to a 13% improvement in battery durability. In response to user feedback, Asus has also included 15W Qi wireless charging compatibility, alongside the unchanged 30W HyperCharge wired charging.
The display of the Zenfone 10 is DCI-P3 calibrated and boasts a Delta-E color accuracy of less than one. It reaches a peak brightness of 1100 nits and is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus. While the rear design has been slightly altered, the nametag remains, and Asus has introduced two additional colors to the existing Midnight Black, Comet White, and Starry Blue options: Eclipse Red and Aurora Green.
In terms of camera upgrades, the Zenfone 10 features a 50MP primary camera with a 24mm f/1.9 lens, equipped with the second-generation 6-Axis Hybrid Gimbal Stabilization. There are also ultrawide 12MP and selfie 32MP cameras. Although the ultrawide and selfie cameras no longer have autofocus, Asus claims that the new camera system significantly improves night mode photography.
The gimbal on the primary camera provides remarkable stability, with a gyroscope detecting camera shake and employing both optical and electrical image stabilization to capture stable shots. The Adaptive EIS feature selects the optimal field of view and can crop further if necessary to ensure maximum stability. The Zenfone 10’s gimbal also enables Light Trail mode, allowing users to capture handheld images of traffic trails, light graffiti, long-exposure waterfalls, and people in motion.
The Asus Zenfone 10 comes in an environmentally friendly packaging made of recycled paper and soy ink. It includes a USB-C cable, a 30W charger, and a bumper cover.
