Xiaomi MI Max 3 joins the long list of phones that have received Android 10. The device debuted back in 2018, running Android Oreo on top MIUI 9.5. It has since got the Android Pie, which arrived with MIUI 11, and is now receiving Android Q.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 3 Android Q update is arriving for the Beta Team, Mi Pilots, and some random users. It’s hitting these phones with a build number MIUI 11.0.1.0 QEDMIXM and weighs 1.9GB. Coming with the update is an updated Android security patch for February, system optimization, and bug fixes. Also, it brings the much anticipated Android 10 update.

Unfortunately, not everyone will get the update for now. The update is rolling out in batches for Beta testers, and when all the members get the update, it will be sent out to another batch. At this stage, if no big is reported, it will then be released for the public. So, if you’re on Beta ROM, make sure you download the update once you get a notification or it will be pulled back.
Besides, those who already got the Android Q update on their Mi Max 3 confirmed everything to be smooth. And with that, we can expect the public roll out in the coming days.
