Some days ago, a report surfaced the internet, claiming the Redmi Note 7 Pro is currently testing MIUI 12 update based on Android 10 in India. Unfortunately, the report was fake, but we expect the device to start getting either of the updates very soon. Meanwhile, we may see the device receive the Android 10 update first, given that the Chinese variants have received the build already.
However, while the update is yet to start seeding, a new Global stable update for Redmi Note 7 Pro has just been released. The update carries a software number, “MIUI 11.0.10.0 PFHINXM”, and weighs in at 173MB. It’s a security patch update, which brings the June patch and improves the system security.
There’s no Android 10, but that could mean the company wants to release the update alongside the stable MIUI 12. Also, since the stable MIUI 12 is now rolling out to devices on the second wave of the rollout, we expect the Redmi Note 7 Pro to receive both MIUI 12 and Android 10 very soon. However, nothing is certain, more so, when it’s Xiaomi and updates, but we’ll sure keep you updated with the Android 10 update for Redmi Note 7 Pro.
To check for the new Global stable update for Redmi Note 7 Pro, head over to System Updates, or you can manually download the recovery ROM and flash. But make sure your current ROM is the Indian Global stable, or you might just waste your data downloading over 2.0G file.
