If you ever thought the Mi 10T series phones are the last to debut under the Mi series this year, then you’re wrong because Xiaomi is about to announce a new Mi 10 series device. According to the latest report, the newly launched Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G might be heading to Indian as Xiaomi Mi 10i.
The device has been spotted on Google supported devices where it is listed as Xiaomi Mi 10i. It’s codenamed gauguiningpro and has a model number M2017J17I, which matches that of the recently unveiled Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G (M2017JI7C). It’s still unclear when the device is going to debut, but we hope to hear from the company very soon.
And if the rumors are true, here are the supposed Xiaomi Mi 10i specs. It’s basically the same device as the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G and the Mi 10T Lite, only that the latter uses a primary 64MP camera while the former has the HM2 108MP shooter.

Of course, the specs are that of Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G since both devices are basically the same. However, we expect Xiaomi to make minor changes, probably the colors, at least, to differentiate both devices. Also, we expect the price to increase, which we hope to learn about that in the coming days.
