MIUI 12.5 and not MIUI 13 is the next iteration of Xiaomi Android skin. According to our recent report, MIUI 12 closed beta testing is going to be suspended on 12.14 (14th of this month), so engineers can focus on the next one, which is now believed to answer MIUI 12.5. We have also published the supposed features of the update, going by the recent features the company has introduced to the closed beta testers in recent times. The stable ROM users might receive some of these features once the MIUI 12.5 update starts rolling out.
And while we wait for official confirmation of some of these features, below are the possible list of Xiaomi phones to receive the MIUI 12.5 update. Sadly, considering that Redmi 7, Redmi 6A, Redmi 6, and Redmi Y3 have all been ruled out from upgrading to MIUI 12, we have also excluded the phones from our possible list of Xiaomi phones to receive the MIUI 12.5 update.
