The Xiaomi Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro continue receiving maximum support since their global debut a few months ago. Those in Europe are already receiving the Android 11-based MIUI 12 update, but it seems the Russian variants have to wait for some time. Xiaomi is currently pushing a new Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro update in Russia. It sans the much-anticipated Android OS but bumps the security patch to improve the system security and stability.
It’s underwhelming that the update sans the Android 11 build, but we believe it’s to fortify the device before it starts seeding. Meanwhile, it’s still on a limited rollout and wouldn’t arrive for everyone at the moment, but you can check for the update via System Updates. The New Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro update is seeding with a version number – MIUI 12.0.3.0 QJDRUXM – and weighs in at 696MB. It bumps the Android security patch level to January 2021 to improve the device security and stability while optimizing the system performance. The update also fixes incorrect data stats on the storage page. As for the Android 11 update for the Russian users, there’s currently no ETA. We expect the update to arrive with the next stable update, and that should be in a couple of weeks. However, you should install the latest update to fortify your device ahead of MIUI 12.5 and Android 11 upgrades.
