Xiaomi has begun rolling out the stable MIUI 12.5 update, but so far, only the Chinese branch of MIUI has received the update. It’s expected to arrive globally this month, and of course, the POCO F2 Pro will be among the first few devices to get the latest iteration of MIUI. According to Xiaomi, the update will address the stability issues, something they’ve overlooked in previous years. Hence, we expect a stable, faster, lighter, and smooth MIUI this time with all the improvement it promises to bring.
However, a new global stable update for the POCO F2 Pro is being pushed to Mi Pilots. That means the latest release is a Stable Beta build, meaning it will arrive for a selected few as the beta preview goes on. It should last for some few days, after which the public rollout will commence, but that if there’s no bug detected. Nevertheless, you can use the link below to download the build if you opt to flash manually instead of waiting for the OTA.
And if you decide to wait, the new global stable update for the POCO F2 Pro will arrive as MIUI 12.2.6.0 RJKMIXM in a 706MB package. The size hints at additional bug fixes aside from pushing the Android security patch level to March 2021. Also, the update brings the device closer to adopting MIUI 12.5, which we expect to start rolling out soon.
That said, we will be on the watch to update this space once Xiaomi starts pushing a stable MIUI 12.5 update to the POCO F2 Pro users. But before then, you should install the latest update to bring your device up to speed, and hopefully, fix any bug affecting the device since the Android 11 upgrade.
