It no news that Google is blocked in China, and as a result, ROMs developed for use in that country don’t feature Google play services. Since then, those running Chinese ROM can’t install Google play service on their phones.
However, not everyone running Chinese ROM is facing this difficulty. Only those running MIUI 12.5 are unable to install Google play services. Luckily, there’s a way to successfully install Google play store on Xiaomi phones running MIUI 12.5. Sadly, this method might not work on all Xiaomi phones. Only those devices that debuted with Snapdragon 800-series (SD 855, 865, 888) can use this method to install the Google play store.
Interestingly, installing Google play store on Xiaomi phones running MIUI 12.5 with this method won’t require downloading Google installer. You’re only required to enable a toggle to show the Google play store on your device.
