The POCO X3 Pro received MIUI 12.5 update a couple of days ago in Europe, signaling the arrival in other regions very soon. Xiaomi has now released the update for the global models, which brings features of the new MIUI OS. However, comparing the changes and that on Chinese models, we can see features missing for the global models. It’s not surprising as that has been Xiaomi’s approach: more features for the Chinese market.
Recently, a petition with over 7000 signatures was directed to the company over the unfair treatment of global ROM users. They responded with a survey asking Mi Fans to indicate missing features they would love to see. We might see that with MIUI 13, which has been confirmed to be in development by the latest Mi cleaner app update.
Meanwhile, the Global POCO X3 Pro MIUI 12.5 update from the feedback has improved the system performance. Xiaomi has reduced power consumption and background memory usage by up to 25%, and with extra optimization, your device becomes faster, smoother, and later after upgrading. The new update also bumps the security patch level to May 2021 to increase system security and stability.
