Xiaomi is set to introduce the next iteration of MIUI in August this year. At least we’re expected to see the MIUI 13 beta version released during this time frame. Of course, that will take time before it becomes stable enough for the public. As usual, we’ll get to learn about the features of MIUI 13 in the coming weeks. And that’s if the latest release time frame is legit this time as we have seen Xiaomi debunked the initial June 25 launch date, which is today.
Early rumors suggested today, June 25, as the official launch time frame, but the company quickly debunked that. However, they have been adapting some of their system apps to MIUI 13. The recent MIUI cleaner was a clear indication of that and the latest adjustment made on the File Manager app. We likely not see a total overhauling of MIUI as the last change in design came with MIUI 12. That’s probably the most buggy build, which the company is yet to solve all the problems introduced by the update. The company has to put up a Pioneer Group to help address some of these persistent problems.
Unfortunately, this group is in China, and as expected will face Chinese ROM users first. They promised to fix the overheating issue first, and they kept their promise, starting with the Mi 11. According to them, they will push an update that’ll bring performance and balance mode to flagship phones in August and going by the recent MIUI 13 August launch time frame, it seems that’ll arrive as part of the features.
Meanwhile, a couple of days ago, the group announced a Q&A session. They hope to further discuss with Mi Fans the problems encountered using their phones. The outcome of that suggests that Xiaomi will introduce the MIUI 13 in August this year. According to Big Li, one of the Pioneer Group members, the company will be adjusting its internal mechanism in August following the new version of MIUI (MIUI 13). Further, he said that the new internal testing will optimize some of the problems faced by Xiaomi phone users. He also talked about transparency in internal beta testers recruitment, and this time, there’ll be not internal testing scores.
Perhaps, the company will soon start recruiting MIUI 13 beta testers, going by the recent report. And if the MIUI 13 August launch time frame is legit, then we expect beta testers recruitment to start towards that time. That said, keep an eye on the website to know when the MIUI 13 beta testers recruitment gets on the way.
