The POCO X3 recently received the much-anticipated Android 11 update a couple of days ago. A few days after that, complaints started surfacing about the build. Some of them are known issues already plaguing Xiaomi phones running Android 11 and will need time to fix. With that in mind, the company is currently rolling out a new stable POCO X3 update for users in India. The update is a minor release to address some of the issues facing those device users currently on the Android 11 build.
As usual, the update is available for only a few users of the device in India. They’ll preview the build for bugs, and if in the end, there’s no bug detected, developers will start pushing the update to the public. However, there’s a link below this post where you can download the build, but you’ll need an authorized Mi Beta account or TWRP recovery installed for it to be successful. Otherwise, you should wait for the OTA to arrive in a couple of days.
The new stable POCO X3 update will arrive as MIUI 12.0.1.1 RJGINXM in a 90MB package. It has increased system stability and reduced system lag, as well as addressing some minor bugs. However, the problem of third-party launchers and square chat bubbles are still there, but hopefully, a new update that’ll fix that for POCO X3 and other Xiaomi phones will arrive soon.
Meanwhile, those yet to receive Android 11 for the first time should expect a bigger size update. And before upgrading, you should back up your data in case a factory reset is required to fix some minor issues after the upgrade.
