Xiaomi MIUI remains one of the best Android skins out there. The company never stops improving as they push new features, optimization, and bug fixes with each new update. However, perhaps, only closed beta members enjoy them, but with the latest development, stable ROM users will now have their problems resolved quickly. The company recently announced to the Mi community that they’ll be sharing bug report status for common issues reported by Mi fans. It will be on a bi-weekly basis via the newly created ‘MIUI User Experience Optimization Announcement’ currently on volume 1.

The company also has plans to start collecting suggestions and feedback for its Android skin (MIUI) more efficiently from October 2021. They’ll launch a user proposal feature in the Xiaomi community forum where users can forward their suggestions and needs for Xiaomi products. It will be processed by internal employees, and hopefully, that’ll speed up integration into Xiaomi products.

Meanwhile, Vol.1 of the MIUI User Experience Optimization Announcement has given the progress made by Xiaomi so far in addressing some issues faced by Mi Fans. Since MIUI 12, there have been unending reports for bugs and now coupled with Android 11, the list keeps expanding after each release. Hopefully, the latest development will help address these issues and optimize MIUI for better performance. Below is the progress made so far.

Redmi K20 / Mi 9T and Mi Note 10 / Pro system lag

Redmi K20 / Mi 9T and Mi Note 10 / Pro users complain of lag/freeze during daily usage. That escalated after the recent update. Luckily, the root causes have been identified, and the issue has also been solved. A fix will start seeding early-mid July via OTA to address the problem for all the affected devices.

Also, the Redmi Note 10 has a similar problem but slightly different as that is experienced during gaming. Luckily, that has been fixed via automatic update. Here how to check your device’s automatic update status- Settings >>System App Updater >> click on the gear icon at the top left. You must be connected to Wi-Fi.
