Xiaomi announced they’ll start pushing the MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition to the second batch of phones on October 8. That’s a couple of days away, but the build has already arrived for Redmi Note 10 5G / POCO M3 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G. The duo is on the list of phones to start receiving the update next month, including the Mi 10 Youth / Lite. However, the update has been released ahead of time, and hopefully, that’ll speed things up.
The Xiaomi Mi 10 Youth / Lite MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition is seeding with a version number – MIUI 12.5.4.0 RJVCNXM. It comes with anticipated features for swift performance and more life between charges. They include Atomized Memory, Liquid Storage, Focused Algorithm, and Smart Balance. Aside from the new features, the update has bumped the Android security patch level to September 2021 to increase system security.
Also, it seems that Xiaomi Mi 10 Youth / Lite MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition brought the new media control center. If you’re yet to activate the feature, you can manually enable it on your Xiaomi phone. And concerning when the global models will start getting the update, it’s unclear at this time. However, we expect Xiaomi to start pushing it to international models from November or earlier.
That said, you should keep an eye on our global MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition tracker to know when the update becomes available in your region. For those running the Chinese ROM, you can check for the update via the updater app or use the link below to download.
