The second phase of the stable MIUI 13 rollout has already started in China, with the global models still waiting for the first rollout. We anticipate the release in the coming days, and it will first arrive on the Mi 11 series phones. The Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 4G and 5G phones will soon receive the update, as Android 12-based MIUI 13 builds for the units are almost ready to start seeding.
Xiaomi debuted the Mi 11 Lite series phones a couple of months ago, running Android 11. That makes them eligible for the latest iteration of Google Android OS. Going by current reports, the new OS will arrive with MIUI 13 and could happen in the coming days.
The Android 12-based MIUI 13 builds for the Mi 11 Lite series phones are in the final stages of testing. Supposedly, the build will be released with a version number – MIUI 13.0.1.0 SKQMIXM – for the 4G variant, while that 5G models will get MIUI 13.0.1.0 SKIMIXM globally. Also, the European models will get the update in the coming days, given that a build with version numbers – MIUI 13.0.1.0 SKQEUXM and MIUI 13.0.1.0 SKIEUXM are ready.
Interestingly, the devices will get Android 12 and MIUI 13 simultaneously. However, it’s unclear when the update will start seeding, but we anticipate the arrival soon. Hence, we recommend that you follow our tracker page to know when the update becomes available.
