Xiaomi released two versions of the Mi 11 Lite this year: 5G enabled and LTE variant. Both have the same design, camera set up, battery capacity but a different processor. The Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite has a Snapdragon 732 SoC – the same chip on the Redmi Note 10 Pro/Max.

Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite Display
Xiaomi has gone for an AMOLED panel for most of its phones this year. For the first time, the Redmi Note series features an AMOLED panel. That on Mi 11 lite measures 6.55-inches and has a refresh rate of 90Hz with 250Hz touch sampling. It is HDR 10+ certified, meaning you can stream and playback HDR videos on the screen. The device uses Gorilla Glass 6 for protection and is also rated IP53, meaning is splash and dust-tight.

The Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite specs that differentiate from the 5G variant is the processor. It features a Snapdragon 732 SoC – the same processor running on the Redmi Note 10 Pro/Max. The SoC has its performance cores clocked at 2.3GHz and the power efficiency cores at 1.8GHz. Adreno 618 GPU takes care of graphics rendering and coupled with the high refresh rate and touch sampling, the gaming experience will improve on the Mi 11 Lite. Outside-of-the-box, you get MIUI 12 on top of Android 11 as Xiaomi prepares to roll out MIUI 12.5.

The Mi 11 Ultra remains the company’s most sophisticated camera smartphone. Hence, if your priority is a device that can shoot great photos and videos, you should purchase the Mi 11 Ultra. However, the Mi 11 Lite isn’t entirely bad, as with the software optimization, you’ll get a decent shot. It has a primary 64MP shooter capped at 4k@30fps shooting. The sensor is flanked by an 8MP ultra-wide lens and 5MP macro sensors, while the selfie snapper features 16MP.
