Xiaomi had announced the current iteration of MIUI before presenting it globally and in India. The rollout started in China immediately after the announcement and has already arrived on a handful of phones. It’s expected that in the coming days, the build will be available for the Redmi K30 Pro. That’s perhaps a piece of good news for the POCO F2 Pro users, which are currently getting a new update just before the planned Android 12-based MIUI 13 upgrade.
Supposedly, the Redmi K30 Pro getting the Android 12 with stable MIUI 13 update means the POCO F2 Pro will get the build shortly after. That has been Xiaomi’s approach when it comes to major Android and MIUI OS upgrades — upgrading the Chinese version before global deployment to the same phone. Of course, the duo is the same phone except for a few tweaks on the POCO F2 Pro and also the POCO launcher to spice things up and make it look different.
With Xiaomi preparing to start pushing the stable Android 12-based MIUI 13 update to the Redmi K30 Pro, they’ve released a new stable POCO F2 Pro update globally. The build has a build number – MIUI 12.5.6.0 RJKMIXM and brings the January 2022 security patch to increase performance and stability. Perhaps, the update prepares the device for a seamless transition to Android 12 with MIUI 13, and we recommend installing the build.
Meanwhile, the new stable POCO F2 Pro update is on a limited rollout, but you can download it via the links below. It’s unclear when the much-anticipated Android 12 and MIUI 13 will be released, but you should install the current build as we wait.
